AEACI Fifteenth School on Analytical Chemistry (SAC-15)

Analytical Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) under the aegis of Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry of India (AEACI) is organizing the Fifteenth School on Analytical Chemistry (SAC-15) during December 12 – 19, 2022 at Department of Chemistry, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, Gujarat.

Analytical Chemistry is an important branch of Chemistry and finds its utility in every branch of Science and Technology like life sciences, environment, metallurgy and various stages of nuclear fuel cycle. There is a need for continuous updating and periodic training of analytical chemists working in various educational institutions and research institutes.

Areas to be covered during the School are
1. Quality Control and Quality Assurance
2. General Analytical Chemistry (Separation Techniques, Statistics, Speciation)
3. Analytical Spectrometry
4. Electroanalytical Techniques
5. Thermal Methods of Analysis
6. Nuclear Analytical Techniques
7. Environmental Analytical Chemistry

The School consists of lectures in the morning sessions and Technical discussion of experiments in the evening sessions. Lectures will be delivered by scientists and academics. The target participants are young academics, research scholars, industrial personnel and budding scientists from research centers. A total of 50 participants will be selected for this School.

Boarding and lodging during the School period will be arranged by the organizers. Accommodation on twin sharing basis for outstation (Non DAE) participants will be provided in guest houses. Certificates to the participants will be given on the basis of 100% participation during the School.
